On April 13, Bentley Motors, Inc. hosted the East Side House Settlement Gala Preview of the 2006 New York International Auto Show. The evening celebrated the global launch of the new Bentley Continental GTC. The Gala showcased A Convertible Chronology: The Finest Soft-Top Bentleys from the 1920s Through Tomorrow and included a private preview of the entire auto show, a cocktail gala for the benefit committee, and a dinner for sponsors and benefactors.

The 2006 event was chaired by Joan Young, Phil Yang and Michael Moreno and honored Roger Altman, chairman of Evercore Partners and Susan Lyne, president and CEO of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. The 2006 benefit committee was chaired by Amy Fine Collins and Alex Hitz. Joining them in support of the event was The Bentley Men's Committee inspired by the Bentley Boys of the 1920s. Over $750,000 was raised at the event all proceeds will benefit East Side House Settlement, an important social service agency in the South Bronx.
