Mid-Winters Eve

Two weeks ago the Young New Yorkers of the Philharmonic held their winter benefit, a Mid-Winters Eve. The evening began with a private concert by Musicians of the New York Philharmonic, which was followed by cocktails, dinner and dancing. 200 attended the concert and then 270 attended the dinner dance.

The Young New Yorkers comprise people ages 21-40 who appreciate and support symphonic music. The organization now has 4500 members. Members can enjoy unique opportunities to attend concerts as well as social and educational events in the company of friends as well as support one of the city’s most valuable cultural resources.

This year’s benefit raised $93,000. The evening was made possible by generous support from Brooks Brothers.
