Sunny Days

On Wednesday night the sculpture objects & functional art fair (SOFA: New York) opened at the Park Avenue Armory to huge crowds and lots of excitement. This is one of the most vibrant art fairs in new york with over 600 artists represented by 57 galleries from 12 countries.

The three dimensional works of art keep you engaged both visually and intellectually and there are great stories behind each piece of art. Here you have a chance to mix and mingle with the artists who are all happy to engage in conversation about their work. The show ends Sunday April 17 so go now!

Among those in the crowd were Juan Montoya, Timothy Van Dam and Ron Wagner, Mario Buatta, Charles Bronfman, Margaret Russell, Jill Zarin, Jane Hansen, Rosanna Scotto, Amy Rosenblum, Mark Lyman, Michael Franks, Clinton Howell, Helen Fioratti, Holly Hotchner, Monique Knowlton, Ken Alpert, Peachy Deegan, Dorothy Globus, Barbara and Donald Tober, Michel Witmer, Alison Minton, Marilyn White, Chris Antemann, Gail Karr, Abby Modell, Anne Meszko, Doug Heller, Fern Mallis, Ilene Wetson, Jack Lenor Larsen, Jamie Drake, Amy Lau, and Alexander Gorlin.
